From my childhood drawings of battles between aliens from his local Pizza Hut to campaigns inspiring strangers across the world to celebrate together, I’ve been imagining visions and making them real.

I was fortunate to attend a high school with an Art Academy for Illustration and Digital Art. I developed my fundamentals in traditional illustration, Photoshop, Illustrator, and storytelling there for four years. (while making Halo and Naruto montages (AMVs) at home).

Straight out of high school, I was supporting local businesses with designs for packaging, advertisements, and miscellaneous assets. A few friends and I even joined forces to create videos teaching English for international students.

Still hungry to design more, I explored the design of vehicles at Art Center, before deciding to dive into Industrial Design at California State University, Long Beach It was a blast.

During this time, I funded my undergraduate life by helping students as a math tutor. And boy was I helpful. I reached a point where I received more requests than I could handle.

So, I applied my design training toward designing a tutoring service, organization, and brand. I recruited, trained, and supported a team of 10 tutors with whom we supported over 100 students in Long Beach and surrounding cities over two and a half years.

When L’Oreal Men Expert released their open call for innovations for their brand, my years of experience in design, strategy, and collaboration enabled our team to develop a proposal that was selected as one of the 8 finalists in the United States.

Following this competition and my first corporate role as an Instructional Designer, my adventures led me to South Korea. For five and a half years, I developed brand strategies, product messaging, campaigns, and creative at every touch point in multiple startups.

Together with our small teams, we delivered creations for audiences in industries such as skin care, fitness, productivity, venture capital, social media, and many more. Plus, I enjoyed so many beautiful experiences and delicious food - click here to discover them!
