Dear Fellow Light,
You made the cases for all those dream jobs, but they still didn’t choose you.
You poured our heart, but they still didn’t choose you.
You applied for the opportunity, but it didn’t choose you.
You shared your vision, but it wasn’t valuable to them.
It can feel like your goals require someone else’s approval.
But is that really true?
Do you need someone’s approval to get going?
To make the next round of edits? To begin promoting it?
It will be imperfect at the beginning, but that’s how every creation goes.
Is it truly necessary for someone else to “get it” before you go for it?
Not everyone has the pieces you have.
You’re excited for your vision and idea because of combination of knowledge, values, experiences, and curiosities you possess.
It doesn’t need to be “trending” or “cool” to be precious.
And if you want to “de-risk it,” you can map out your plans and de-risk them yourself.
Do you need to visit another example of your dream career or workplace?
All those places you visit, just so you can get closer to what you want to do…
you can start making your own version of that from where you are.
If it’s built around what you love and way of living, it can better for you than anything you’ve seen.
Could you be using more of your energy and time for your deepest dreams?
All that time, energy, and money you’ve been using for someone else’s acceptance of you.
All that time, energy, and money you’ve been using to feel momentarily happy.
All that could be used to manifest what you constantly dream about.
It’s been you who has put your dreams in the hands of someone’s approval.
And you can take it back.
You don’t need anyone to choose you.
You have more than what' you need to keep moving forward.
You can choose you.

Do what comes to mind or resonates with you.
Action Items
Write down why the vision or idea in your head is worth using your time, energy, and money on.
Imagine it’s your last year of life… what would you regret not having done?
Remove obligations from your calendar and mind.
Stop seeking acceptance from other people. You don’t embrace everything or everyone, not everyone is going to embrace you. It’s okay. Live doing what you love.
Continue developing and building your idea.

From The Artist
For over 10 years, I locked my dreams behind the acceptance of companies, my significant others, or trends.
I felt unable to do what I wanted.
After I arrived at the decision to create artwork for a better living, I applied to 100s of jobs over months. Each time putting together the best case why they should choose. Each time receiving a template sorry reply.
In my frustration and observation of independent artists, I realized I didn’t need their approval. I saw their manner of doing business was actually against my values. I didn’t need their approval, nor did I want to be like them.
I decided then, I would choose me.
I would hire myself. I would invest in myself. I would build where I stand. No matter how long it takes, I stay the course and support the manifestation of what I keep coming back to.
Since choosing me, I’ve been able to manifest more than I could have imagined in my first year.
As you read this page, I wish for my offerings to support you in choosing you and manifesting those dreams your soul keeps being pulled towards.
